Sonoran Process Equipment Company

History of the Company

Sonoran Process Equipment Company (SPEC) evolved from the acquisition of Svedala Industries by Metso Minerals.  The required spinoff of the crushing equipment line to Sandvik Rock Processing created the immediate need for a local trained staff to support the many successful hydrocone crusher installations.

Prior to the beginning of Sonoran Process Equipment Company, the current management team spent six years in management positions within the Svedala organization.  This was the result of the 1996 acquisition of DISSA (Diversified Industrial Services of Sonora & Arizona) by Svedala.

While the company names have changed, the well-trained and qualified sales and management staff are the same.  With a combined 100+ years of experience, SPEC will continue to offer the world's highest quality equipment and aftermarket service for the aggregate, construction, mining, power generation and industrial markets.

Whether you are looking for a solution to size reduction, solids or hydraulic transport, size separation or an improvement in your wear costs, SPEC can draw from hundreds of successful installations to offer you the best overall results.
